A wonderful hideway from the hustle and bustle of Bali, Wapa di Ume is a boutique resort just 5 minutes from Ubud Centre that boasts rice fields as its centre piece, the aroma of the nature has spread it’s beautiful arms around the resort making it paradise on the earth.

Every facet of Wapa di Ume brings sophistication, with top-class facilities and fittings, exceptional service as standard and a host of added extras, including yoga lessons, rice fields walking tours, open air theatre and Balinese cooking lessons. And always, always, there are the rice fields as a living, growing, natural centerpiece.

You can imagine our mood when we finally arrived at the resort! We were greeted with flowers (placed near our ear) and given a fresh coconut as a welcome drink which made it so special. As we walked in the suite we were amazed by the wonderful views of the lush green view.

Stayed at Di Ume Suite with decking that stretches over the agricultural panorama, a natural finished suite on the second floor with king size bed that combine traditional Balinese esthetics with modern style and comfort. The spacious room is completed with sofa bed, private bath room and seperate sunken bath, and a wide balcony with dining table overlooking the rice fields.

Wapa di Ume has 2 pools, the two levels swimming pool and the infinity pool. It’s the perfect place to pass the time of day, overlooking the tropical coconut and palm trees, sun beds sit enticingly alongside, while the new lounge area can be reached in just a couple of steps enabling you to indulge in the wonderful menu utilizing the very best of the local procedure. We also can have breakfast on the new lounge overlooking the infinity pool or on the terrace overlooking the rice fields. The breakfast has decent great options, and they’re delicious. I can say that they served one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had.

There’s also a convenient free shuttle bus service to Ubud Center, so you can enjoy free time to explore the town and sample some of the local restaurants, or maybe do some souvenir shopping in one of the many shops.

Beside it’s facilities and blissful atmosphere, the best part of our stay was the very helpful and kind staff. Everyone was friendly, in positive spirits and very lovely to be around. The staff greet us with their very pleasing smile and greetings everytime we walk pass them and made us feel extremely comfortable here. Would absolutely stay here again when I back in Ubud.
