Who doesn’t know Grand Indonesia? It’s one of Jakarta’s most popular shopping malls. It’s centrally located and easy to get to. With shops ranging from high-end to designer clothing, electronics stores to luxury car sellers, shopping at Grand Indonesia is definitely an eye candy experience for shopaholics. My personal favorite fashion stores are:
Zara which The New York Times named the world’s largest fashion retailer is my favorite go-to stores for basics and on-trend buys. I’ve always been aware of the brand’s brilliance. With price ranging from $15 – $300, you can get the latest to pick up designer-inspired pieces for less. Zara is divided into four sections: Zara Woman, Zara Man, Zara Kids and TRF.
The Swedish retail chain H&M has finally fulfills their promise to open it’s third flagship store at Grand Indonesia (the biggest one compared to their previous stores). The consumer can enjoy the lines exclusive collections with a focus on market trends and budget friendly prices. Offering styles from basics, sportwear, classic cuts to one time trend pieces. With new shipments arrive daily, I feel like I want to stop by and shop everyday.
Pull & Bear offers great value casual shirts, relaxed trousers, shorts and jackets as well as a big denim offering. The quality of the garments is not premium, but it easily matches what you’ll find in nearest high street equivalent. A great place for visiting teens to stock up on weekend wear.
No matter what style you are looking for, Forever 21 has a look to accommodate you. The products are modern, young and definitely hip! You can always find something for any occasion, I highly recommend this to anyone searching for unique and affordable clothes.
If you just want to chill, have some meals, read your favorite book or browse your favorite website while sipping a cup of coffee, Grand Indonesia has a great selection of restaurants and cafes. You’ll find everything from Sushi Tei, Starbucks, Social House, Auntie Anne’s to Burger King. The mall has two largest bookstores in Jakarta, Kinokuniya and Gramedia. Here, you’ll find a wide selection of books, magazines, and cute stationaries. It also has one of Jakarta’s best movie theater Blitzmegaplex. It has 11 screens with top notch surroundings and a 4DX theater. And with a parking capacity of approximately 5.500 cars, you don’t need to worry about not getting a parking space. Overall Grand Indonesia offers nonstop entertainment for everyone of all ages.
