So last May, I had a chance to visit Athens, Greece with Scoot, which is their first long-haul flight between Asia Pacific and Europe. They fly direct from Singapore to Athens 4 times a week for 11-and-a-half hour.
Scoot gives flexibility to passengers on how they want to travel depending on their budget and needs. You can add meals for long-haul flight or snacks, snooze kit, an in-flight entertainment or additional luggage. You can also choose your seats for more leg room.
Check in was quick and easy. We started our journey from Jakarta to Athens, with layover in Singapore. We arrived at Changi around 11PM, it’s perfect timing to freshen up before our flight to Athens at 2AM.

Our plane was brand new Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with more leg room than we expected and the staff were super friendly. The flight from Singapore to Athens was smooth and quick, with a nap along the way. And as always, Scoot has pretty decent meals and snack choices. Me and the other passengers were so thrilled we were to finally experience Greece! (someone please pinch me)
11 hours later we finally landed in… ATHENS!

Overall, I had a safe and comfortable flight to Athens. In the mean time, I hope you enjoy this post while I complete photo diaries of my trip to Athens to come.
