It’s been a while since the last time I visited Bangkok. To be honest, nothing kept inside my mind that time which makes me excited to visit Bangkok again. This trip was planned less than 2 weeks, I got the ticket in a flash and by that time not even a scratch on my itinerary.

Choosing a place to stay indeed a dilemmatic problem for me and I believe it applies the same with almost everyone I know. What could be perfect than staying at a hotel that placed in the center of the city, with cheap foods around, and the nearest transportation access. After took sometimes to cruise the internet and as much as hotel bookers applications, we came to the decision to stay around Pratunam Area with all it’s crowded ambiance. We stayed at this hotel, famous for local people and tourists as well named Amari Watergate Bangkok.

This hotel is a senior among all, but the seniority is full of quality. Established 23 years ago, Amari Watergate has every possible holiday indulgence you need start from spa, fitness center, swimming pool, lounge, and not to mention their famous Amaya Food Gallery. They just recently renovated their food gallery and lobby. Once you entered the lobby, you’ll see crystals streaming down from the ceiling which symbolizing the water, just as it’s name “Watergate”.

We stay at the Executive Club room with rate from $180 per night, where we can enjoy cocktail hours and experience the stunning Bangkok skyline at Executive Lounge, located on the 32nd Floor.

The hotel’s interior is a classic five-stared standard with all the facilities you might need during your holiday. Get inside the room you will receive a warm greeting from a city view which you can see from hotel’s giant window, a very comfortable king-sized bed, and the “i-can’t-wait-to-jump-into” bath tub.

With all these facilities you got from a hotel, everything are set, and of course with the best breakfast
buffet a hotel could provide. In Amaya Food Gallery, they serve wide range of foods from Indian, Japanese, Chinese foods, Italian or Parisian breakfast so no need to worry about what to eat to start the day.

You can see a lot of happy family spending their holiday and stay here. Amari Watergate location couldn’t be any more Bangkok than others, if you are so sick of eating habit in restaurant, you might as well eat foods from hawkers while standing and strolling around another street food stalls in Pratunam Area which only 5 minutes by walking. In Pratunam Area I saw a lot of mouth-watering food stalls with friendly seller. I even got a pack of free mango sticky rice from a seller we just met.

Overall, Amari Watergate Bangkok is a nice place to stay if you are here to travel and to spend your holiday. Once stop hotel staying for you and your family to enjoy some time off from the hectic daily life.
