Located in Singapore’s prestigious financial district on Marina Bay and walking distance from many corporate headquarters, Chinatown and Marina Bay Sands, The Westin Singapore is rated among some of the renowned 5 star hotels in Singapore. Marina Bay is one of my favorite parts of town and serves as the perfect emblem of the city’s evolution, from it’s industrial past to it’s vibrant future. For me, the location is one of the important determining factor when choosing where to stay, so no wonder that it’s one of the best parts of my hotel experience.

From the moment that I stepped in the lobby I was impressed. Design and interior of the hotel is very chic and elegant. Lobby is large and well lit from a giant window which overlooking the port. The staff was very friendly and as soon as I walked into my room I received a box of chocolate and cookies and a lovely welcome note. Which is always appreciated when travelling.

The Westin Singapore houses 305 rooms and suites that are fashion-forward but comfortable. The deluxed room where I stayed was adorned in earthy shades of cream and brown that comes with the renowned Signature Heavenly Bed in king-size, layered with soft white linens, a plush duvet, a dwon blanket and plum pillows. Also a 42-inch HDTV, iPod docking and Nespresso machine for your coffee needs. The floor-to-ceilings windows, revealing resplendent views of the city’s sparkling skyline and some it’s iconic emblems such as Art Science Museum, Singapore Flyer as well as overlooking the pool area of the hotel.

Bathroom is decorated in marble and offers a spacious vanity and floating basin, luxurious freestanding bathtub, a rainforest shower as well as a separate water closet. Fragrant White Tea Aloe bath amenities, extra-large cotton bath sheets, fluffy personalized bathrobes and cozy slippers will definitely complete your refreshing experience.

The outdoor infinity pool can be found on Level 35 with an amazing view facing the city and sea, and I was lucky I had the entire pool to myself. There is also a world class 24-hour fitness studio encourages healthy routines. Designed to help you recharge, the fitness studio offers a wide range of facilities from running to weightlifting. And if you need a relaxation, Heavenly Spa at The Westin Singapore is the right place where you go for a masage or pampering session. I wouldn’t wait too long after invigorating workout to eat a healthy breakfast. Headed to Seasonal Tastes at Level 32, the hotel’s buffet breakfast and the selection of the breakfast was pretty good from International to Asian dishes. The delicate SuperFoodsRx dishes pair whole foods to boots nutritional benefits and flavours. Antioxidant-rich and naturally low in calories, tempting selections make healthful meals to help people discover ways to eat well, stay healthy, and be happy.

And last but not least, The Westin Singapore allows their guests for a free 3PM late checkout on Sundays and extended breakfast hours to help your weekend last even longer. So you can staying in your rooms longer to get over your weekend revelry or rest before an evening flight. I couldn’t asked for a better stay. The Westin Singapore is indeed a perfect choice for both leisure holidays and business travellers!
